He had to have an assistant for his tricks, though. Why did the talent show have to be tonight? All day Monica worried. That afternoon, as she walked home from school, she got an idea. She ran back to school and asked the principal to put Alex at the beginning of the talent show. Then she told her coach about the show.
The talent show went well. The audience loved Alex's tricks. Once she was done, Monica raced off the stage, changed into her uniform, and ran out to the soccer field. She was just in time for the game!
