It was finally Friday, and tonight was the championship soccer game. Monica leaped out of bed. She was opening her door when she

froze. How could she have forgotten about the talent show? Her best friend, Alex, needed her to be his assistant. Alex was a really good magician and would probably win the talent show. He had to have an assistant for his tricks, though. Why did the talent show have to be tonight?
All day Monica worried. That afternoon, as she walked home from school, she got an idea. She ran back to school and asked the principal to put Alex at the beginning of the talent show. Then she told her coach about the show.
The talent show went well. The audience loved Alex's tricks. Once she was done, Monica raced off the stage, changed into her uniform, and ran out to the soccer field. She was just in time for the game!

Answer:

Explanation:

Women in the ancient greek world had few rights in comparison to male citizens. Unable to vote, own land, or inherit, a woman's place was in the home and her purpose in life was the rearing of children. That is a general description and when considering Greek women one should remember our sources are incomplete and not always unbiased.

Unfortunately, information regarding specific city-states is often lacking regarding women and is almost always from male authors. Only in Athens can their status and role be described in any great detail. Neither are we sure of the practical and everyday application of the rules and laws that have survived from antiquity. We do know that Spartan women were treated somewhat differently than in other states. For example, they had to do physical training like men, were permitted to own land, and could drink wine.

Rom4ik [11]
<span>B Experts today estimate 20,000-30,000 laborers worked on the pyramid at any one time.

This is the best option out of all the options. The statement should support the idea that many people were needed to build the pyramid. Options A and C do not really indicate the amount of people the were necessary to build the pyramid. B and D are the only ones that give numbers. Option D however is not correct because even though it says that the work crews needed to be divided into smaller groups, it doesn't give a true indication of the sheer amount of workers needed. Option B is a clear estimate of the tens of thousands of workers necessary to build a pyramid.
