The correct answer is C) They both fought for social equality, but only DuBois fought for economic equality.

The views of W.E.B. DuBois and Booker T. Washington differ in that they both fought for social equality, but only DuBois fought for economic equality.

W.E.B. DuBois (1868-1963) supported the activities of social action to fight against white supremacy idea. He did not accept the idea that white people considered better than African Americans. Booker t. Washington (1856-1915) was an educator and was considered one of the most influential black leaders. He asked African Americans to accept the condition black people had at the time and focused on work hard and patiently to overcome that situation.
