Nobles - They were rich subjects who were granted land by the monarch. In return, they would provide men, arms, and money to the royal crown.
Clergy - They were influential in terms of the decisions made by political leaders. They did not power but they had influence.
Merchants - They set up businesses in towns and traded different goods. They allowed people to improve their skills in making products.
Knights - They served a lord by accompanying them in court and protecting them. They also watched over the lord's manor and all the activities.
Artisans - They were people who were skilled in making important everyday goods, such as shoes, clothes, and liquor.
