I would say D but that's just because I already know the definition of automation is the use of largely automatic equipment in a system of manufacturing or other production process.

Can someone plz help me write an argumentative essay about world war 2.
AysviL [449]

Explanation:

World War II caused greater destruction than any other war in history. The war took the lives of about 17 million soldiers and an even greater number of civilians, who died as a result of bombings, starvation, and deliberate campaigns of mass murder. The war also ushered in the atomic age and was quickly followed by the collapse of the wartime alliance between the United States and the Soviet Union and the beginning of the Cold War.

World War I created the conditions that led to World War II. The peace settlement ending the war, which stripped the Central Powers of territory and arms and required them to pay reparations, left lasting bitterness in Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Turkey. The peace treaty also disappointed two of the victors, Italy and Japan. In addition, the war severely disrupted Europe's economies and helped set the stage for the Great Depression of the 1930s.

Who or what is most likely an antagonist in Robinson Crusoe?
grigory [225]

Answer:

B. The sea and its tides

Explanation:

Robinson Crusoe is a novel written by Daniel Defoe. We follow the story of a man who was shipwrecked on a deserted island. He was trapped there for 28 years with no valid possibilities of sailing away.

Antagonist in a story is a person or a hostile force that stands as opposed to protagonist (the main character), it makes things hard for him and creates a rocky road to the protagonist`s goal, intentionally or unintentionally.

In this novel, the antagonist is the sea and its tides - it was them that caused the shipwreck and disenabled Robinson from getting out of the island and going home.
