The correct answer is “Protected tariffs”

The American System was an economic plan that was written by Henry Clay and other politicians - John C Calhoun and John Quincy Adams - and aimed to strengthen and to unify the American Nation.

The plan consisted of many policies, such as tariffs to protect America’s industries, establish a national bank with a single currency that made trade easier and also improve the country’s infrastructure.

Those tariffs would raise funds so internal improvements could be made, one of them would be the transportation networks that would link the Midwest and North.

What was one reason sharecropping began in the South? a. It was a way to take advantage of the South’s strong infrastructure. b.
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer: C

Explanation: With slavery being abolished after the Civil War, many Southerners lost their form of work in slaves. Slaves themselves also needed a form of work. Sharecropping substituted that (when a landowner allows a tenant to use the land in return for a share of the crops produced on the land), though it still adhered to the attributes of slavery like unequal shares.

lana [24]

Answer:

Church of Lacedonia is different from the church of Philadelphia by having Christian community that was established in the ancient city of Laodicea (on the river Lycus, in the Roman province of Asia, and one of the early centers of Christianity). The church was established in the Apostolic Age, the earliest period of Christianity, and is probably best known for being one of the Seven churches of Asia addressed by name in the Book of Revelation.
