Your answer is middle paragraph or A because a body paragraph is where all the statements, quotes, and supporting details are located also its not B because the final paragraph is your conclusion and your conclusion has your thesis and your opposite statement its not C because the first paragraph is where the thesis is and you are telling the reader what the story or essay is going to be about and when it came down to rather A, or D I choose A because the hearderis the title of the story or essay its what gets the reader to want to read the story a grabber but grabbers are in the first paragraph titles, and headers are use to organize a story, or essay so the reader doesn't get confused about what he, or she is reading.

Your answer is A.

The body of an essay are the middle paragraphs. That's where all your detail should be placed. The final paragraph is the conclusion. The first paragraph is your introduction to what the reader will be reading about. The header and footer are just addition pieces of information.

What does the word base appear to mean in this passage? What is the dictionary definition? Do you think Frankenstein has a good
kramer

Answer:

The word base here seems to mean that Victor Frankenstein refused to despise himself, think of himself as lowly, as the monster may have seen or thought him to be.

The dictionary defines "base" as something that is low, or the source of something, the beginning point (as a noun) and as a verb, it means a 'foundation' of some sort.

Victor's refusal to make another monster is a good argument because, as far as he knows and is concerned, the monster had only brought pain and suffering to humans. And so, if there is another like him, then there is no saying what will happen in the future. One monster is better than two.

Explanation:

Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" is a gothic novel revolving around a young scientist's desire for greater knowledge. This led him to create a living creature from dead human parts, akin to the role of a god in giving life to another.

In the given passage from Chapter 16, the monster had requested his creator Victor Frankenstein to create a companion, a female for him. But Victor refused, declaring that it will only <em>"desolate the whole world."</em>

The use of the word "base" in the passage is suggestive of Victor's refusal to be deemed lowly, weak, to despise himself, etc.

The dictionary definition of the word "base" is as a noun, to be the lowest part, the support or source of a thing. And as a verb, it means the foundation, the location, etc.

Frankenstein has a good argument for refusing to create a companion for the monster because then, they will only create more havoc and death to humanity, as that was all the monster had done till now. Victor sees the monster as nothing but an "abhorrence", a mistake (if applicable) and would only lead to the end of the human race in the world.

Which sentence contains a misplaced modifier?
Tpy6a [65]
Hi,

I believe it is the second choice, "<span>The neighbor waters our plants whom we trust the most while we travel."

The correct variation would be: "The neighbor, whom we trust the most while we travel, waters our plants."

Death of a Salesman. Why does biff steal?what compels him to steal? How do his actions shape his future?
ehidna [41]
Why does biff steal?
Biff steals things because it is his passive-aggressive way of getting back at people he feels have unfairly done better in life than he has,

What compels him to steal?
stealing gives him an excuse to quit whatever dead-end job he happens to be in at the moment.

Future?
This pattern of subtle revenge and avoiding of mundane responsibility is exposed to be a nearly life-long pattern for Biff, and one that will continue.

How are conjunctive adverb and subordinate adverbs difference
inysia [295]
Conjunctive adverb is an adverb or adverbial phrase that indicates a relation in meaning between two sequential independent clauses (or main clauses). It is also called a conjunct, a transitional conjunction, or a cohesive conjunction.

subordinate adverbial clauses function within sentences as adverbs. Just as most adjective clauses begin with a relative pronoun, adverb clauses always begin with a subordinating conjunction (after, before, unless, although, when, while, as soon as, as long as, as if, where etc) marking them as grammatically subordinate
Hope this helps
