A narrative: a poem that tells a story

Lyric poem: a type of poem characterized by brevity and compression, and the Expression of feelings.

Free verse:Poetry without a regular pattern or meter or rhyme.

Sonnet poem: A 14 line poem In iambic pentameter

I believe it would be personification, because from what I read, it seemed as though they were speaking about the highway like it was alive. If it is not personification I think it would be metaphor. Sorry if neither of these are correct...
