Answer:

Ain't been nothing but nice to you, but if that's how you want it then that's how it's going to be.

Explanation:

These words describe what Ruby's dad told the store owner when she told him not to come to the store anymore. Ruby Bridges was one of the first black girls to attend an integrated school. Because of this, many people who disagreed with integration were mean to her and her family. An example was the store owner, who did not want Ruby's father to come to the store anymore, despite the fact that he was one of the first to buy from the store when others refused to.

Ruby's father told the store owner that if that is what she wanted, then he won't come back. He told the store owner to remember that he was the first to come and buy from her store when the people there did not want to buy from her because she's a Jew.

According to the “supremacy clause” the Constitution, laws of Congress, and US treaties are ____.
mash [69]

2. the supreme law of the United States

In our country, anything decrees written within our United States documents such as the Constitution stand supreme over state laws or other state level decrees. Therefore federal law is the supreme law of the land.

3. implied

N/A

4. popular sovereignty

According to the philosophy of "popular sovereignty", the term itself states that it's the consent of the people to control their government [as the bottom line]. With this in mind, Sandra is exercises her popular sovereignty by choosing who she wants her officials to be, hence the ownership in her own decision.

5. State Government

Certain individuals favor giving the national government more power but foresee potential power-hungry acts to come out of this. Most people to this day still agree that state governments should take more of a role in the central government.

6. Implied

Our government needed flexibility in creating their own powers to execute organized and substantial actions for our country- implied powers DO NOT appear on the constitution, so notice in the name itself elastic, meaning stretch, or even "necessary and proper" which could mean what is NEEDED for something to happen.

7. The Constitution is the document which outlines the plan of government of the United States including three branches of government and a system of federalism.

The other options are far-fetched and invalid. The constitution outlines our government with how it should operate.

8. Checks and Balances

In the situation where one branch, in this case executive (since its the president), makes a veto that is unfair or merely bias, the other branches can balance this out and overrule it for the better of its people. No branch shall be more powerful than another!

After World War II, what did Congress do to help the nation transition from a wartime economy to a peacetime economy?
9966 [12]

C) Reestablished controls on prices, wages, and rents.

In 1946, a joint resolution of Congress extended the price controls enacted during World War II for an extra year past their initially planned end date, in order to help as the country transitioned to a peacetime economy. The government wanted to get away from price controls, but didn't want to do so too abruptly. The joint resolution (passed in July, 1946), included this statement: "It is hereby declared to be the policy of the Congress that the Office of Price Administration, and other agencies of the Government, shall use their price, subsidy, and other powers to promote the earliest practicable balance between production and the demand therefor of commodities under their control, and that the general control of prices and the use of subsidy powers shall, subject to other specific provisions of this Act, be terminated as rapidly as possible consistent with the policies and purposes set forth in this section and in no event later than June 30, 1947, and on that date the Office of Price Administration shall be abolished. "

So there was a temporary extension of the price control measures, reestablished or extended by the joint resolution of Congress.
