How ferociously the sun glares these days! It was scorching hot today. Is it the effect of global warming? I am certain; this heat wave is unbearable because of the global warming. If at the onset of summer the mercury is so high, what will people and animal do in the month of June? The sun was biting the skin on my arms and neck! I felt it might wear holes in my skin! Thank God there are still some trees left in the city along roads. If I had not taken refuge under one of them I would surely have burnt myself of the intense heat of the sun. I know it is all because of man’s recklessness towards the environment. If man had not cut forests on such large scale the world would not heat up so much! If man had controlled the emission of green house gases, global warming could have been checked. But alas! Man learns from tragedies only. What can I do?
