Answer:

B) Dark Romantics explored the darker side of the human soul.

Explanation:

Although Dark Romanticism was a part of the Transcendentalist movement/ form of art/ literature during the 19th century America, the themes in focus were far from similar. Instead, while Transcendentalists deal with the perfection and divinity of an individual as its own aspect, Dark Romanticism rather focus on the dark side of human personality. They believed that an individual's dark side of personality such as greed, evil, self destruction, judgement, guilt and sin all are equally important as the good qualities. Dark Romanticism focus and explore more on the darker side of the human soul.

The answer is B:

According to Dark Romantics, even good men and women drift towards sin and self-destruction, and there can be unintended consequences that arise from well-intended social reforms.

Another major difference between the two was their view of God and God’s role in the lives of people.

What does covey do that makes the slaves feel that he is always present?
EleoNora [17]
Covey tried to surprise and ambush his slaves, hiding and waiting for them so they never knew when to expect him. His whole life was devoted to duplicity, devoted to "planning and perpetrating the grossest deceptions." He also conceived of himself as religious, but of course this was very hypocritical.
