The way you subtract mixed numbers is you need to turn the mixed numbers into just fractions, the way you do that is times the denominator by the mixed number, than you add the top you do that to both fractions, but remember don't change the denominator! Then you need to find the same denominators by finiding the factor that they both have... once you finish that you can subtract and you will be finished~ Hope this helps :)

zlopas [31]

Answer:

$16,384

Step-by-step explanation:

The amount of money Nadir saves increases exponentially by a factor of 2. If you keep multiplying each previous number by 2 until you get to the 15th number, (2*2, 4*2, 8*2, 16*2), you will get 16,384.

then
6.3 billion pounds--------------> 6.3 x 10^9 pounds
[pounds of candy per person per year]=[6.3 x 10^9 pounds]/[301 x 10^6]

[pounds of candy per person per month]=20.93/12=1.74 pounds per person per month

The sum of two prime numbers is 8585. What is the product of these two prime numbers?
dybincka [34]
8585 is odd, so one of the primes is even and the other is odd (otherwise their sum would be even). 2 is the only even prime. Thus, second prime is 8585-2=8583. Their product is 8583*2=17166.
