Read this excerpt from the speech “We Shall Fight on the Beaches” by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Which statement i

s true about the use of rhetorical devices in this excerpt?
We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

Churchill uses metaphor to illustrate the size and capability of the British and French forces.

Churchill uses repetition to assure his audience of Britain's determination to win the war.

Churchill uses hypophora to remind the audience that no place is safe in the face of war.

Churchill uses alliteration to praise the British forces for showing courage in their battles.

Read the paragraph.

It would better improve the paragraph because it has nothin to do with the rest of the paragraph. The paragraph seems to be about team sports and promoting it, while sentence 3 is about individual sports are better then team sports. So removing sentence three would better promote CO-ED team sports.
