Answer:

English language belongs to the B) Germanic language family.

Explanation:

A language family is a group of languages that share descent from an ancestral or parental language. One of the most important families is the Germanic one: Germanic languages are a branch of the Indo-European language family spoken mainly in Europe, North America, Oceania and Southern Africa that includes German, Dutch and English. In fact, English language was named after the Angles, one of the Germanic tribes that migrated to Great Britain.

Which of the following inferences about Mrs. Song is best supported by the text?
Aneli [31]

Hello. You did not indicate the text you are referring to, nor did you enter the answer options, which makes it impossible for this question to be answered. But I will try to help you by showing you how to find inferences supported by the text.

An inference is a conclusion about something, which is drawn from evidence and supporting details that the text exposes. In other words, an inference is a conclusion that you can draw from the interpretation of the text.

In this case, for you to find the inference in the text, you must recognize what the characteristics of Mrs. Song are portrayed in the text. For example, if Mrs. Song is a person who, in the text, is portrayed as someone who is always helping the needy and participating in charity and community events, we can infer that she is a charitable and progressive person.

Is "Yes, he was stone, stone dead." Is that a simile metaphor personification or a hyperbole?
Elden [556K]
Pretty sure its a simile. It cant be personification because it says “he” which refers to a living and breathing human. I don’t think it would be a hyperbole because hyperboles are an over exaggerated description. It doesn’t use like or as, so i would say in this case simile.
