The theme is shaped by the character, setting, and plot of the story. The setting causes conflict and influences the main character's thoughts, feelings, and actions. (ex) Jonas lives in a society where every aspect of a person's life is controlled. This causes anxiety (conflict) for Jonas.

hope this makes you understand it more:)

2. Kate has yards of fabric and needs yards to make a skirt. How much extra fabric will she have left after making the skirt 4
Andru [333]
I say 1 1/2 yards because you need to subtract 4 3/8 by 2 7/8. If you do subtract you would get 2 and -4/8 so you have you take away one from two which would be 1 4/8. Since 4+4 = 8 it would equal half so that the complete answer would be 1 1/2.

Help writing four sentences to a personal reaction getting exactly what you wanted on your birthday
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer:

Ok, so basically a really short story about you getting what you wanted? Okay then.

Explanation:

"Wait, wait, wait...someone pinch me, quick! Is this the (whatever you want)? Oh my god, thank you so much!" I said as I unwrapped the present. My brother didn't pass up the opportunity and pinched me, hard. I yelled at him, but inside I was still ecstatic. I had gotten the perfect present and now nothing could ruin my birthday, not even my pinching brother.
