The Industrial Revolution changed American lives in many ways! It began to build the America we know today. It helped the economy grow. Cars were being manufactured. It provided millions of jobs. People left farming to come to the cities and work. Including women and children.
The Industrial Revolution changed the lives of Americans by: 1. Giving them an opportunity to enhance/ improve in the technology that they had back then. Ex: Phones on the walls became the cell phones that we carry around with us wherever we go. 2. It gave the jobless Americans at that time a chance to gain a job and be able to be able to get a home if homeless and better take care of their families if they had one.
No candidate in the election of 1824 received of a majority of electoral college votes and so the 12th Amendment was needed so as to send the election to the House to decide.
