The answer is 12. This process is called meiosis, which is a process of reduction division. Meiosis reduces the number of chromosomes in a normal cell. So 24 divided by 2 equals 12.

maksim [4K]

Answer:

In other words, the water molecules within ice move faster. However, temperature doesn't change as heat is added during a phase change; for example, when the ice melts. During the phase change, the added heat doesn't make the molecules move faster, but rather further apart.

As estrogen and testosterone levels fall in later life, the frequency of intercourse ________ and the frequency of sexual fantas
vekshin1

Answer: As estrogen and testosterone levels fall in later life, the frequency of intercourse decline or decrease and the frequency of sexual fantasies also decrease or decline.

The sex hormones have an impact and regulate or direct the male and female physical development of the sexual characteristics. The hormones testosterone and estrogen are present both in males and females but the males have higher testosterone levels and females have higher estrogen levels.

In humans the hormones impact the sexual behavior at a lower level once the sufficient level of hormones is present. In the later part of life, with the decline in level of the sex hormones the frequency of intercourse as well as the sexual fantasies decline.

What is the irony in the husband's refusal to lock the door
ser-zykov [4K]

Strong winds enter the house through the open door, and the husband tells the wife to "Gae [go] out and bar the door."

She, in summary, tells him to forget it.  She's the one who is busy working, not him.

They make a pact that whoever speaks first will be the one to have to close and bar the door.  They are both stubborn, and stubbornness is really what the poem is about.  You could say stubbornness is the theme of the poem.
