This is how Nazis rise to power.Lead by Hitler himself, he promises tons of things for geemany.Germany didn't wanted to be a communist country in general.A good financial society for Germany promised to make Germany great again,as well as Germany were only keen to rely on Hitler because they didn't want Germany to become a communist countrey

The Nazi regime rose out of the dissatisfaction of the German people. After world war 1, Germany had to pay a lot for war repairs and were ordered to disarm and not even have a military. Because of the debt they didn't have any money for production or industry and this led to mass satisfaction from the people. When Hitler showed up, he told the people that he could fix it and make Germany great and the people believed him.

The Khmer Rouge was a Cambodian communist government that rose in power due to dissatisfaction following the colonization of the SEA region. They had support from the Northern Vietnamese army and also from China who were also communist countries. They managed to win the civil war and introduced a government that committed many atrocities.

What do you think might happen to Socrates if he lived in the United States today? What did you base your answer on? PLEASE HELP
grigory [225]
I think Socrates wouldn't had been killed if he lived in the United States today since citizens of the United States have freedom of speech. Socrates was simply killed because he didn't recognized the gods recognized by the states as gods. In the United States Socrates has freedom speech meaning that he is able to publicly criticized the gods without any danger. He corrupted the youths of Athens by saying the gods they followed are faked. In the United States today, he would still be alive. I based my answer on today's political system and the how Socrates was killed simply by telling the people what he really believes.
