In a population of native snails living in the ocean, coiling is determined by a single locus with two alleles (S, s). The right

coiling phenotype has the SS or Ss genotype and the left coiling phenotype carries the ss genotype. Researchers spent the summer collecting a random sample from the population and found 1550 right coiling snails and 450 left coiling snails. What is the genotype frequency of the left coiling snails?

Ghella [55]

Answer:

Hello!

The answer is ventricular diastole.

Explanation:

Tricuspid Valve Stenosis:

Tricuspid Valve Stenosis is the narrowing or stenosis of the tricuspid valve located between the right atrium and right ventricle.

This is a rare heart disease that can be caused by infective endocarditis and rheumatic fever.

This condition entails restricted blood flow from the right atrium to the right ventricle. Untreated cases can result in an enlarged or hypertrophied atrium and a smaller ventricle.

9. Consider the below Punnett square cross. Explain how you could use it to determine which parent
kogti [31]

Answer: The father determines the biological sex of a baby

Explanation: Human beings have two sex chromosomes, males have XY chromosomes whereas females have XX chromosomes. During fertilization, an egg from a woman fuses with a sperm cell from a man to form a zygote. Women have two X chromosomes (XX) and any point in time they can only release an egg bearing an X chromosome but males have one X and one Y chromosome, therefore they can either release a sperm cell with an X chromosome or a sperm cell with a Y chromosome. When an egg with X-chromosome fuses with a sperm cell with an X chromosome, the resulting baby is a female but when an egg with an X chromosome fuses with a sperm cell with a Y chromosome, the resulting baby is a male.

What makes the difference in both sexes is the Y chromosome from the man, therefore the father determines the biological sex of a baby.

Which gland would a doctor check if a person didn't react to stressful situations
Inessa05 [86]

Pituitary gland.

When you feel stress, the pituitary gland, at the base of the brain, increases its production of the hormone ACTH. This hormone tells the adrenal glands, found at the top of your kidneys, to increase their production of hormones. These stress hormones help you to concentrate, speed your reaction time, and boost your strength. Your hypothalamus also helps your body respond to stress.
