According to the poster ,"A careless word.....A needless sinking, what is responsible for the sinking of the ship?

Basically, no soldier was allowed to tell his family where he was being deployed to because a spy or something similar could be listening which could lead to the opposing side getting that information and attacking the ship/base etc. Hope this helps!<span />
