a)  Montag will head towards the river and follow the railroad tracks to search for Hobo camps containing people with college degrees.

b)  Faber will go to Saint Louis to meet with a retired printer.

Explanation:

Montag's plan is to head towards the river in the hopes of throwing the dogs off of his scent. If he can travel by river for a ways, and then travel along the railroad tracks, he may be able to locate others who have been trying to remember the knowledge that the government has tried so hard to erase. Faber wants to visit with a retired printer he knows. Montag doesn't know any printers so it would not make sense for this to be something Montag would do.
