Mendelian, monogenic or monofactorial heredity is used to characterize disease transmission due to a mutation in a single gene. This mode of transmission follows the laws of Mendel, which explains the use of the term "Mendelian".It is inherited by syngamy and then karyogamy of maternal and paternal genomes at the time of fertilization.

The parents: MB MB
The children: MM Mb Mb b
2. The probability that a child of these parents will have the blond divided by blond genotype:
MM Mb Mb bb ==> 2/4 ==> 50%
3. The probability that the child will have brown hair color:
MM MB MB BB ==> 3/4 ==> 75%
The fluid mosaic model explains the arrangement of cell membrane components. It states that the membrane components are constantly moving. The phospholipid bilayer compromises hydrophobic fatty acid tails and hydrophilic phosphate heads, this hydrophilic/phobic nature determines the unique structure of membranes.
