Pizarro held the Inca emperor hostage for a short time before freeing him.
The Inca had no immunity to the diseases the Spanish unknowingly carried.

Getting a right to vote
Going places were other people could go
Treated equally
To keep European's from creating any more colonies in the Americas. If the European did form any more colonies, the US would see it as an act of aggression.
