what is perhaps the most grotesque sign of the desensitization that has taken place in oceania with regard to violence , in syme
r-ruslan [8.4K]
Syme and Winston have a discussion about what Syne is really going after. Syme is very amped up for the possibility of the English dialect being abbreviated into a sincerely void arrangement of word-phrases. Basically there will be no chance to get of communicating the individual self. Everything will be desensitized to its most base vacuous frame. Syme, obviously, is much excessively amped up for this. 1. Read these lines from “The Darkling Thrush,” by Thomas Hardy.
Anastaziya [24]
The answer to 1 is imagery because the description helps us to better see the thrush through its use of adjectives.
The answer to 2 is sight, because we see gray rather than feel gray.
The answer for 3 is "is" because "dictionary" is a singular noun, not a plural noun. There is only one dictionary.
The answer to 4 is "was" because "tourist" is a singular noun, not a plural noun. There is only one tourist.
The answer to 5 is "was" because there is only one Statue of Liberty. It is a singular noun.
Remember, the general rule for singular/plural nouns is that plural nouns are usually attached with an "s" at the end. Although there are exceptions, it helps with most nouns.

yuradex [85]

Answer:

They create cultures that unleash originality in others, and that can only be done within a culture that welcomes dissent. Your organization might prefer consensus and harmony.
