Answer:

Like the atmosphere, the ocean transports and distributes heat on Earth, helping regulate the climate.

Explanation:

The ocean and the atmosphere are connected, they both transport heat and create balance on Earth's climate. The only source of heat on Earth is solar radiaton, but since the Earth shape is round, it's distribution needs help to be balanced. Oceans can administrate and transport heat, and together with the atmosphere, they can provide the correct distribution of heat. Oceans can store much more heat than Earth, therefor the majority of thermal energy on Earth is provided by them.

What is the equivalent of latitude on a celestial sphere
Vaselesa [24]

The celestial equivalent of latitude is called declination and is measured in degrees North (positive numbers) or South (negative numbers) of the Celestial Equator. The celestial equivalent of longitude is called right ascension.

The Celestial Sphere :

North Celestial Pole (NCP) and the South Celestial Pole (SCP) - these are just the north and south poles extended into space.

Celestial Equator - The earth's equator, but at a much greater radius. ...

Horizon - The horizon changes depending on your position on earth.

I hope this helps
