Answer: A

Well, the triangles are congruent. So we can eliminate C & D.

B is incorrect. This is because if you map triangle RST across the y-axis, it won't even be close to ABC. Even if you did move the triangle down 2 units, to wouldn't perfectly fit onto ABC.

A is correct because if you reflect it across the x-axis, RST will make the same shape as ABC. Moving it left by 2 spaces will make RST perfectly fit onto ABC.

Andru [333]

Answer:

The coordinates of your position are x=7, y=0 and z=-2 or in coordinates notation the point given by (7, 0, -2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since you are starting from the origin of a coordinate system, the coordinates of you position are simply going to be how many units you have moved in each direction.

 1. 7 units in the positive x-axis direction gives you x=7
 2. Then, being in the x-axis, you move 2 units downward parallel to the z-axis. Here the downward gives you a negative sign for the z coordinate, hence, z=-2.
 3. Now, y=0 is given due to the fact that there is no movement in the y-axis direction or you can also say that all the movement have been perpendicular to the y-axis and therefore, your position in this axis is zero.

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (-4,5)and(-7,8))?
Nataly [62]

Answer:

slope is -1

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope of the line (m)=(y2 -y1)/(x2 -x1)

given

(x1, y1)=(-4 , 5)

(x2,y2)=(-7 , 8)

Now using the above formula

m =(8-5)/(-7-(-4))

m = (3)/(-7+4)

m= 3/(-3)

m=-1

therefore the slope of the line is -1
