The correct answer is B) Immigrants are introducing filth into the cities and taking American jobs.

The argument would a nativist most likely support is Immigrants are introducing filth into the cities and taking American jobs.

Nativism is a policy that focused on protecting the interest of inhabitants of the United States in the times when immigration represented a real problem for America. US citizens considered that immigrants took their jobs because owners could pay low wages to immigrants. American citizens started to show some kind of hostility against immigrants from Asia and Europe.

Using the system of elimination, I'd say the correct answer is <span>C. It shows the worst of America, whereas the other poem shows the best of America.
It's not A because there is no love being portrayed in "I Sit and Look Out;" it's not B because there is no defined rhyme scheme in that poem; it's not D because both poems show the working class.
So based on this, it has to be C - the first poem shows hatred, pain, and violence, whereas the other one shows unity and love.

murzikaleks [220]

1. Australia

Currently, Australia only has around 3 people per kilometer square which make it the second least densely populated continent in the world. (The first one is Antarctica)

Largest portion of Australian land was left as an authentic wild life environment, which is considered to be the most appealing things to promote Australian tourism sector.

Population would be considered as 'growing' if the amount of birthrates outnumbered the amount of mortality rate each years.

As Africa's economy grow, there would be more people that able to sustain the life of their families. This would lead to an increase in birthrates and number of people who managed to survive and grow into adulthood.

3. By 2100, Africa’s population will reach the level of Asia’s population in 2010.

Even though Africa populations shows a positive growth over the past decades, Asian countries already achieved their industrialized status way before African population. Which means that it is very unlikely the African population would surpass Asian population.

4. Refugees

Refugees mostly decided to move out to other country to seek protection because their life is somehow threatened in their home country.

This would most likely caused by things such as economic instability, cruel government regime, ongoing conflict between different groups, etc.

It is not uncommon for refugees to be seen as nuisance by the people from their country destination due to the different in background, cultures and  language.

5. -lack of educational opportunities

-discrimination

-low standard of living

Push factor refers to the negative characteristic that felt by people in a certain area, which influenced them to move out. This could include wide variety of reasons, including things such as poor economic condition, dangerous conflicts, lack of job and educational opportunities, etc.

6. safety and security

Pull factor refers to a positive characteristic that a certain area has that make it desirable for people outside the area to move in. Political pull factors refers to the pull factors that is controlled by the government. From the options, only safety and security fit the criteria since the government could utilize it's police department or military to achieve it.
