In "The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America" by Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson starts by stating his main point to support the whole Declaration:

The separation from the oppressive Government of England, even if Jefferson did not say it in such a way, and with those exact words. Here we have the quotation to better understand this point:

<em>the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one</em>

<em>people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them</em>
