Spoils system is a practice in which the election winning political party provides its supporters, relatives and friends with <span>government </span>civil service<span> jobs as a reward for their support and their work towards victory.
Advantages: 1- Each party ensures the loyalty of the other 2- New ideas are presented 3- Two-party order
Disadvantages: 1- Might lead to greed 2- Some of the assigned members may not be well-educated or fit for the jib they are assigned for.</span>
The New Jersey Plan was favored by smaller states because it gave equal representation to all states. The Virginia Plan, in contrast, distributed representation based on population, which naturally favored larger states.
