D-Day know as Normandy or operation Neptune as know it was one of the most bloodiest attack of all times. Its main purpose was to get into France because the Germans had used their method blitzkrieg and they had crushed France. The only way to penetrate into France was by the coast beaches of Normandy France. 156,000 troops where sent into D-Day they where loaded on the Aircraft carriers and then once they where close to their location their where loaded into U boats and those boats leaded them to the beaches of France. A brutal fight went down on the beaches it took them 15 days to complete their invasion from the beaches to the heart of France.
