In the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, both characters Victor and Captain Walton desire glory. They both crave to make really valuable contribution to the human race in order to be noted and remembered forever in history. These characters long to be regarded to as heroes who accomplished something that no one ever had before.

Victor Frankenstein is the main character. He is depicted as a man driven by ambition and scientific curiosity. His crave absolute knowledge and power.

Robert Walton  is the person to whom Victor tells his story. Both Walton and Victor share their ambition, drive, and the desire for glory.
