The amount of kinetic energy depends on the mass and the speed. The kinetic energy of an object is directly proportional to its mass and speed. So, if the mass of a body increases, it’s kinetic energy also increases even if the velocity remains constant. So, yes, Robert’s kinetic energy will be twice as much. Also, think of it this way-since Robert has twice the mass as his sister, he will also need twice the amount of kinetic energy to run in the same velocity as his sister.

Why do people say that viruses are in between life and non-life?
Natalija [7]

Answer:

Viruses have been concluded non-living

Explanation:

It is true viruses have living qualities such as reproduction and environment adaptability. However, they lack being composed of cells and the inability to undergo homeostasis. Because a virus contains both, but also doesn't meet the requirements to be one or the other is why it's said to be in the "grey area".

Why are these studies effective for testing a drug that may elevate mood and relieve feelings of depression?
Crazy boy [7]
B)Double-blind studies are ways to ensure that only the researcher can figure out who is getting the effective drug. This is to help and maintain the objectivity of the study especially because since it concerns humans as test subjects. Moreover, it is also to avoid biases and errors which can be elicited by either the researcher himself or the participants.
