<span>English Civil War was a turning point for the colonies as this formed the United Colonies of New England or as commonly known New England Confederation. Several other incidents like American Revolution, King Philip’s war caused massive destruction, thousands died on both sides. Before this time the colonies used to fight on their own with their enemies and the English Monarchs were ruling them. After this time a major characteristic was that colonies unified and helped each other fighting. This also brought a huge moral and religious change.</span>
