Answer: Mama describes herself as a big-boned woman with hands that are rough ... Burned in a house fire as a young girl, Maggie lacks confidence and shuffles. Mama knows that her other daughter, Maggie, will be nervous throughout Dee's stay, self-conscious ... Dee watched the flames engulf the house she despised. Sometimes I can still hear the flames and feel Maggie's arms sticking to me, her hair ... Also, the tension between Dee and Mama is perfectly evident.

It tells you to find another term for the noun used for example the noun in the sentence is John Proctor, you just need to identify what is John Proctor. It could be like this “John Proctor, a cardiologist (blah blah)” so the appositive that i wrote is cardiologist because it describes john proctor as a doctor.

Which phrase best describes this type of sentence? Gary, please close the door.
NeX [460]
Declarative: Makes a statement, using a period.
Interrogative: Asks a question, using a question mark. (?)
Imperative: Makes a demand, using a period.

There is also a fourth type of sentece:
Exclamatory: Expresses strong feeling, using an exclamation point.
However, exclamatory sentences are always one of the above as well.

Thesis 2: Humanities, as a course, allows an alumni to explore the many paths of liberal arts.

Thesis 3: Racism in many countries, normalized by repetition, is blatantly an immoral thing to take part in, and this can be backed through many forms of evidence.
