student: Can i know why homework is important for students ?

Student : Well, i dnt think that student need homework because as we read in our school and if we get homework we will not get time to rest or do extra curriculum activities.

Teacher: hmm..I agree with your opinion but without homework students can't be able to success in their life. Homework is a part of students knowledge.Homework is one of the methods of evaluating students ability in my opinion.As you know that with out difficult roads you can't enjoy the importance of your destination.So homework is one of the most important part in students life. so what do u think now?
