Podemos superar la pobreza de muchas maneras. Uno es la creación de empleo. Los programas de empleo ampliamente planificados iniciados por el gobierno pueden hacer crecer el mercado laboral. Otra es la educación. La educación en poblaciones empobrecidas proporciona una manera para que las personas entiendan mejor su situación y visualicen su salida de la pobreza. Tiene el poder de poner fin a otras cuestiones sociales, como el racismo y el sexismo, que están intrínsecamente relacionados con la pobreza.

We can overcome poverty in many ways. One is job creation. Widely planned employment programs initiated by the government can grow the labor market. Another is education. Education in impoverished populations provides a way for people to better understand their situation and visualize their way out of poverty. It has the power to end other social issues, such as racism and sexism, that are intrinsically related to poverty.
