Answer: A. by arguing that Alonso's daughter is too far from Naples to interfere.

Explanation:

Antonio and Sebastian are characters that appear in William Shakespeare's <em>the Tempest.</em>

In the story, Antonio is the brother of Prospero (a magician that has been forced to flee his dukedom). When Prospero was banished, Antonio took over the throne. Antonio, however, continues to plot against other characters: he persuades Sebastian to kill his brother, Alonso, so that Sebastian himself can become the King of Naples. He does so by eliminating all the arguments against this plan. Antonio ensures Sebastian that Ferdinand, Alonso's son, is dead. In addition, he says that Claribel, Alonso's daughter, is too far away to interfere:

<em>"She that is Queen of Tunis; she that dwells </em>

<em>Ten leagues beyond man’s life; she that from Naples </em>

<em>Can have no note...." (Act II, Scene I)</em>

According to Antonio, Claribel lives at the edge of the world, and there is no way for her to find out about this murder plot or take revenge on them.
