The first epic is the story of a soldier who got lost at sea and sailed for many years before finding his way home. While he was

gone, his family struggled financially. Knowing how much their father valued his ancestors’ homeland, his children refused bribes of food and money offered in exchange for the land. They preferred to live humbly and proudly. Upon his return, their father’s joy was boundless, which pleased his sons and daughters. The second epic is the story of a great leader and prince who was banished from his home by an evil cousin. While traveling and living a simple life in the forest, the prince met and married a princess. Despite their royal backgrounds, neither of them minded living safely hidden in the forest. This humility saved their lives on a number of occasions, and their great happiness did not depend on living in a castle. When comparing these two myths, what qualities do both myth-tellers seem to value? physical strength and agility cleverness and wit humility and humbleness

The correct answer is humility and humbleness. We know this because in the first epic the author says the family lived "humbly and proudly". The second epic summary ends saying that "This humility saved their lives".

What were times Uriah had to be honest hittite warrior. plz help i will give brainliest
docker41 [41]

Answer:

The loyalty of David’s men ran deep and David cherished these men. In 2 Samuel 23:13-17 we read about a time when David was hiding from Saul and probably having spent days without much water nor food said longingly how he wished to drink from the waters of Bethlehem. Bethlehem at the time was under the control of the Philistines, but when his men heard David’s words, three of them snuck through the Philistine lines to get that water for David.

David’s response to their generous act showed the love and appreciation he had for their sacrifice. Instead of drinking the water, he poured the water out to God. He felt that was the only way that he could honor how they had risked their lives to get him the water in the first place. His response showed the heart of David, a man after God’s own heart, and it stands in great contrast to his callous message to Joab after Uriah’s death many years later, “for the sword devours now one and now another.”As much as David was called to be king, David’s Mighty Men were called to support him. God used these men to help establish David’s kingdom. Like David, Uriah answered his call and was faithful to the end and played his part in bringing about God’s promise.

Even though this event with Uriah is tragic and definitely leaves a bad impression of David, I love that God has imperfect leaders. His imperfect heroes reminds us every day people that God’s requirement is not perfection. It reminds me that you do not have to wait to be perfect to serve his purposes. But I wanted to bring Uriah’s story to light, a lesser known and almost forgotten hero. He too was a leader of men, a great warrior, faithful to God, and faithful to his mission. He also was God’s faithful servant

What is class conflict and what are examples of class conflict?
liberstina [14]

Answer:

Class conflict is the political tension and economic antagonism between two or more different social classes usually as a result of socio-economic competition.

One of the best examples would be France in the late 1700's, where the difference between the socio-economic status of the king, nobles and clergy created a conflict that would end up with the lower classes rising up and starting a revolution.

the witches prophesy foretells that macbeth will be safe until birnam wood comes to dunsinane which seems impossible, but comes
Oksanka [162]
In Shakespeare's Macbeth, the witches show Macbeth an apparition which tells him that he will not be defeated until Birnam Wood marches to Dunsinane. Macbeth, upon hearing this, feels relieved as he understands that it is impossible for the trees in the woods to march from one place to another. However, when Macduff and his army are coming to Dunsinane to fight Macbeth, they cut off branches from trees to hide behind them as they march towards Macbeth's castle. Because the army was hiding behind the branches, it looked like the trees were marching from Birnam to Dunsinane. In this manner, the prophecy was fulfilled.
