If he uses 1 quarter, he has 40 cent left to make.He can do that in two ways, by using 2 dimes andall four nickels, or all 3 dimes snd 2 nickels. That's 2 ways.
If he uses both quarters, he has 15 cent left to make.He can do that in two ways by using 1 dime and 1 nickel,or no dimes and 3 nickels. That's 2 more ways.    So there are four ways to make 65 cents.

Answer:

4 ways

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that A vending machine accepts nickels, dimes, and quarters.

Purchase amt = 55 cents

Coins available = 4 nickels, 3 dimes and 2 qrs

Values                    5             10                 25

To give 55 cents, there are these possibilities

(2 qrs, 1 nickel)  or (1 qr, 2 dimes),  or (1 qr, 1 dime, 2 nickels) Or (1 qr, 4 nickels)

If he does not use a quarter, total value of dimes and nickels = 30+20 = 50 only.

Thus he has to use atleast one quarter.

Hence there are only 4 ways to do this

Can you guys distribute -9n-8-3n=6n-8 and figure out how many solutions it has plz
nydimaria [60]
First combine like terms (-9n-3n=-12n)
Then, subtract 6n on both sides (to get rid of the 6n) = -18n
Then, add 8 to both sides (does not matter) = 0
Finally divide (answer is 0)

a) 36°

b ) 18°

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula is given as:

The measure of each exterior angle =360°/n, where n = number of sides of a polygon.

a) decagon

Decagon = 10 sides

Hence, the measure of each exterior angle = 360°/10

= 36°

b) 20-gon

20-gon = 20 sides

Hence, the measure of each exterior angle = 360°/20

= 18°
