The correct answer is number 4) They built large structures to honor religious figures.

The statement that is true of both the ancient Sumerians and Native American tribes was that they built large structures to honor religious figures.

Ancient Sumerians established in the Middle East region, between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The had important city-states such as Ur, Uruk, and Kish, where they built impressive buildings or palaces called Ziggurats, where they had large structures to honor their gods such as Enki and Enlil.

Native American tribes also built large structures to honor religious figures such as temples, palaces or pyramids where they had the figures of their gods. For instance, the Aztecs,  that had the huge monolith of the god of rain, "Tlaloc," or the figure of its god of war, "Huitzilopochtli," in the pyramids of the capital city Tenochtitlan.
