Choose three poems from this unit that were not written by Walt Whitman; they are “The Soldier,” “In Flanders Fields,” “Dulce et Decorum Est,” “War Is Kind,” and “There Will Come Soft Rains.” For each of the three, state the poet’s message about war, and analyze how the poet uses language and poetic structure to highlight that attitude. Cite specific words and lines from each poem that you choose to analyze.

Umm, when I studied,  I hated this kind of tasks very much. Analyzing was never easy for me. My analysis was always completely different than my teacher expected it to be.
