The age of rocks is called its absolute age, Geologists find these ages through measuring the amount of radioactive elements in rock when its formed. Thus with the passage of time these elements change as well as the parent rock get decayed. Generally there are three type of rocks such as the Igneous, Metamorphic and the sedimentar, they differ on the basis of their texture and size and formation. There exists some kind of relationship between these rocks and due to the process of earths evolution the rocks also evolve. Like multiple bands of sedimentary and metamorphic rocks are found in layers of rock. The relationship can be due to magma, facture and folds, accumulation of sediments or complete destruction of rocks due to magma.
