Your statement is false, the sun's most direct rays would be striking the Tropic of Capricorn which is located at 23.5 degrees south in latitude, in the southern hemisphere. When the earth is tilted this way, the north pole is rotated further away from the sun that the south pole is.

Which of the following types of questions could be answered with some kind of distribution map?
Sindrei [870]

Answer:

The questions that could be answered by a distribution map are:

A) Who are the victims of a certain type of crime?

C) How many people own homes?

D) Who can read and who can't?

Explanation:

Distribution maps are used to represent the spatial distribution of a characteristic or attribute on a map.  They are very useful for identifying patterns.  In the case of questions A, C, and D, a distribution map could help to show where people with a certain characteristic are located.  For example, for option A, the map might show that people living in a certain area of town were the victims of a given crime.

Option C could not be answered by a distribution map because it is looking for a complex set of reasons that cannot be mapped out spatially.
