First make bottom numbers the same
3/8 and 2/3
common multiple is 24
3/8 times 3/3=9/24
2/3 times 8/8=16/24
1/3 times 8/8=8/24
(9/24+16/24)+8/24
9+16+8=33
33/24= 1 and 9/24= 1 and 3/8=12/8

In triangle Xyz the measure of angle YXZ is 14.5°, and the measure of angle XYZ is 75°. What is the measure of angle XZY in degr
steposvetlana [31]

Answer:

90.5 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the angle in triangle XYZ is 180 degrees, hence;

m<XYZ + m<YXZ + <XZY = 180

Substitute the given angles

75 + 14.5 + <XZY = 180

89.5+m<XZY = 180

m<XZY = 180 - 89.5

m<XZY = 90.5 degrees

Hence the measure of angle XZY in degrees is 90.5 degrees

What is 4.62 expressed as the quotient of two integers in simplest form?
erik [133]
Multiply 4.62 by a number that to get an integer.
Such as multiply by 5 is 23.10 so to get rid of 0.1, just multiply by 50 then it becomes 231.

so that means...
4.62 = 231 / 50

or a simple answer would be multiply by 100, then you get 462.

so....
4.62 = 462 / 100
And then simplify, it is divisible by 2 so the answer is 231/50

The diagonals of a parallelogram ABCD intersect at O.find ar(AOB),if ar(ABCD)is 44cm^2
prisoha [69]

Answer:

11\text{ cm}^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: In a parallelogram ABCD, diagonals intersect at O and ar(ABCD) is 44 \text{cm}^2.

We need to find the area of triangle AOB.

We know that each diagonal divide the parallelogram in two equal parts and diagonals bisect each other.

It means both diagonals divide the parallelogram in 4 equal parts.

ar(AOB)=\dfrac{1}{4}\times ar(ABCD)

ar(AOB)=\dfrac{1}{4}\times 44

ar(AOB)=11

Hence, the values of ar(AOB) is 11\text{ cm}^2.
