How did religious reform lead to increased interest in science?

History

Scholars felt more freedom to pursue questions that challenged accepted church thinking without fear of being subject to Inquisition or punishment.

Religious reformers already had taken the step of questioning traditional beliefs held by the church.  Seeking scientific answers to questions about the universe was simply another way of looking for truth, rather than accepting without question what traditional authorities had said.

The early scientists of the Scientific Revolution were typically quite religious men, but they wanted room to explore God's creation without being threatened by the church and labeled as "heretics" for doing so.

Prompt
alina1380 [7]

Answer:

It began with Wal-Mart working to keep the costs of their company as low as possible. This idea moved from their company to their suppliers as they asked them to be as frugal as possible. As the company grew in size, they began looking for every way to wring out the last penny of savings from materials, packaging, labor, transportation, and display. The result was “the Wal-Mart effect.” This business model reflected the problems associated with globalization commonly cited by critics because id depends on manufacturers making the cheapest products, and those manufactures are found all over the world, leading to a global business model. And if one of the processes in any part of the world shut down or stopped working it would affect the other parts of the world involved with it.

const2013 [10]

The correct answer is D) religious tensions.

The partition of India in 1947 was mainly due to religious tensions.

In 1947, problems in India were common. Economic, Political, and religious problems were part of the daily living of people in India. But it was the religious differences the main reason for the partition of India under the rule of Great Britain. Many people decided to form Pakistan and follow the Islam religion, while the majority stayed in India and followed Hinduism traditions and religious teachings. The partition was official and both governments were officially accepted in August 1947.
