AysviL [449]
20 total students
4/20 students have hazel eyes
which means 16/20 students do not have hazel eyes
16 divided by 20 =.8
there is an 80% chance that ONE is not hazel
and there is an 80% that the second isn't hazel
to find the probability that both will not be hazel
multiply 80% by 80% (.8 * .8)
.8 *.8 = .64
There is a 64% chance both of the selected students wont have hazel eyes

Taylor earned $48 48 for 6 6 hours of babysitting and $68 68 for 8.5 8 5 hours of babysitting. How long would she have to babysi
jeka57 [31]
First we need to find whats the rate for 1 dollar

since 48 dollars for 6 hours
then for 1 dollar = 6/48 = 0.125

since 68 dollars for 8.5 hours
then for 1 dollar = 8.5/86 = 0.125

So both gave the rate to be 0.125
then for 32 hours it will be = 0.125 x 32 = 4

So Taylor will have to babysit for 4 hours to earn 32 dollars
