1. Patrick Stewart delivers Titus' long speech from Act III, Scene 1 of Titus Andronicus twice--once in a manner that Barton ref

ers to as "generalized," once not. What specific differences did you notice in the two performances?
2. Barton concludes by noting: "In dialogue, a character reaches out to another character, and in a soliloquy, a character reaches out to the audience. How does Michael Pennington reach out to you as the audience in his performance of Hamlet's soliloquy?

3. With Barton's general direction and the company's examples as your guides, read Marc Antony's speech below (also on page 822 of your text) and decide how it should be delivered. Which lines should be delivered softly, which ones with much emotion? Why did you choose them?

1) The specific differences that I noticed in the two performances mentioned above are that the first one was very touching and totally emotional, I bet that the author wanted to make us go through this perfomance in the shouse of the characters but because of this decision it was kind of hard to concentrate on the words. In the seconfd performance these two points (emotional and textual) are balanced so it was more holistic.

2) The way how Michael Pennington reaches out to you as the audience in his performance of Hamlet's soliloquy is his personal attitude he expressed to those who came to watch it by looking right at the camera while delivering his soliloquy.

3) There is no photo or excerpt of the page that you have to analyze, and I can depend only on the Speech: “Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears” from Julius Caesar, spoken by Marc Antony. I think that any of line should be rid, or changed in tone, because this is the major point that shapes and reveals the Antony's character who is considered as a superficial man.

Hope that helps!

Emily was happy sitting on the back of her father's bicycle, while watching the vegetation that ran around her, due to the movement of the bicycle. Her mother was right behind her, on another bicycle, and every few minutes she was waving at her. The walk to their house was long and it was already a little late for a 4 year old girl to be awake, which made Emily struggle with the sleep that invaded her. He couldn't sleep on the back of his bike, because he couldn't hold on to his father and he would end up falling. So she promised to stay awake.

However, the sleep was very strong and she felt she was beginning to doze when she felt a tearing pain in one of her feet. Amid Emily's screams and cries, her father stopped the bike quickly and her mother sped up to catch up with them and find out what happened.

Emily's foot was bathed in blood and her side had lost all of its skin. Emily pinned her foot to one of the bicycle's tires in the middle of the nap, which caused the metal part to remove all the skin on her foot and put her through a moment of great pain.

Emily's parents rushed her to a hospital to have the professionals stop the bleeding and make some kind of dressing to help her. They did not know the severity of the cut and were afraid.

The nurse who attended Emily took care to stop the blood, stitch the cut, make dressings and give some recommendations on how Emily should be cared for in the coming days. The cut was not serious, despite leaving her foot badly injured, which indicates that she would need care.

Gradually Emily's foot healed, but after 22 years, she can look at the scar and remember that despite everything going well, that was the worst moment of her childhood.

Why is it significant that Darry calls Ponyboy “little buddy” at the end of Chapter 11?
Artist 52 [7]

It is significant that Darry calls Ponyboy ~Little Buddy~ at the end of Chapter 11 because the previous night when Darry and Scoda came to pick Ponyboy up from the hospital, he (Ponyboy) realises that, Darry doesn't hate him, he just worries about him.

Hope this helps! Xo
