Answer: Winston Churchill was very good at rhetoric. In his speeches, he prepared people for all the hardships that will come, but also gave them enough hope.

Explanation:

There are many historical figures which were good at rhetoric. One example is Winston Churchill (1874-1965), British politician, who was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during two historical periods, one of which was crucial for the British history (1940-1945). Winston was famous for the speeches he delivered, especially those during the World War II.

One of the most famous speeches is definitely<em> "We Shall Fight on the Beaches"</em>, a speech which he delivered to the House of Commons on June 4th, 1940. In this speech, Churchill describes a disaster which might ensue in case of the Nazi invasion, while at the same time he guarantees British victory. He prepares people to fight and motivates them not to give up. He also prepares the British people for France's surrender, which would soon happen. Although Churchill did have political adversaries, he had a very strong connection with the British people. They loved his speeches which gave the nation strength at the time of war.

Where do you put commas in the sentence?: "As you might expect the national language of Japan is Japanese."
natulia [17]

Answer:

"As you might expect, the national language of Japan is Japanese.

Explanation:

It is between the "expect" and "the national." Without it, it would be a run-on sentence and would sound drawn out, and the reader would likely run out of breath before finishing the sentence. Hope this helps!
