This is where Hutu extremists killed off around 800,000 women, men, and children. 75% of which are the Tutsi, an ethic group, whom Hutu extremists blamed as the reason for the country's increasing social, economic, and political pressures. The remaining 25% of the murdered masses was either part of the Twa ethnic group or other Hutu, those who are against the killing campaign and the forces directing it. It was estimated that 200,000 people participated in the perpetration of the Rwandan genocide.
