Need help with number 3 & 5 please .

3. 3w-(7w+12)=2(w-3)

expand

3w-7w-12=2w-6

bring all w to one side

2w-3w+7w=-12+6

6w=-6

w=-1

5. 9(n-4)-8n=32-2(n+8)

again, expand

9n-36-7n=32-2n-16

bring all n to one side

9n-7n+2n=32-16+36

4n=52

n=13
