A series of four acts, the Townshend Acts were passed by the British Parliament in an attempt to assert what it considered to be its historic right to exert authority over the colonies through suspension of a recalcitrant representative assembly and through strict provisions for the collection of revenue duties. The acts were resisted everywhere with verbal agitation and physical violence, deliberate evasion of duties, renewed nonimportation agreements among merchants, and overt acts of hostility toward British enforcement agents, especially in Boston. In response, in October 1768, Parliament dispatched two regiments of the British army to Boston.
The famous composer who was the first to play concerts for the entire public, and not just the wealthy was Mozart. He referred to this as a "liberty of music." He liked the fact that he could play for whomever he chose and whenever he chose. The correct answer is Mozart.
The answer is letter A. The California Alian Land Law of 1913 prohibits foreigners from owning lands, stocks and other properties. They were also not allowed to lease them for more than three years of tenure. Many Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Korean immigrant farmers were deeply affected of this law. This law was implemented to stop foreigners from immigrating, specially Japanese immigrants and to create an inhospitable climate with the other immigrants in California. Around this time, there was an on going Anti-Asian prejudice going on causing the implementation of this law.
